91黑料 President Dr. Kathy Johnson became the Acting Vice President for Research & Economic Development at the University of New Orleans in February 2024.
On Sept. 14, 2023, the Board of Supervisors for the University of Louisiana System selected Kathy Johnson as the 8th president of the University of New Orleans and the first woman to lead the institution in its 65-year history. President Johnson comes to the University from Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, where she most recently served for eight years as executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer.
President Johnson serves as the Acting Vice President for Research & Economic Development.
